Starter Generator – DC 515-030

Description

The 515-030 DC Starter Generator is manufactured by Thales AES (Auxilec) and is fitted for the Airbus Helicopter AS350. Airbus Aircraft Part Number is 704A46-101-018. The starter generator is a sheilded unit with a maxium altide of 6,000 m (20,000 ft). The generator operational ratings are: 30 VDC, 200 A, power at 6 kW, and a speed range between 8,000 – 12,150 rpm. The starter operational reatings are: torque 1.83 m.kg (13.48 ft.lb), speed of 2,100 rpm, current rating of 400 A, and a voltage of 20 VDC. The rotatioal direction is counter clockwise when looking from the drive shaft end. The unit weighs 20.83 lb.
