Opening its doors in April 1984, NAASCO has served the aviation industry for over 35 years as an FAA and EASA approved repair station and our leadership team brings combined electrical, mechanical, and avionics experience of over 250 years.  During this time, NAASCO has changed the aviation industry by introducing our specialized designed engineering solutions that focuses on improved reliability while solving planned obsolescence.  Two of our most successful product offerings are our starter generator ETR/Mercury Mod and our Sil-Met contact, relay, and terminal block solutions.

Michael Leslie
About Michael Leslie

As the President and CEO of NAASCO, Mike is responsible for the overall performance, strategic direction, and long-term growth. He draws upon his extensive business and senior executive management experience with a variety of high-profile organizations. Mike takes great pride in being responsive, engaged and accessible both to customers and the NAASCO team.

Born into the aviation sector, Mike began his technical career at NAASCO while securing his A&P License. He held varying positions of increased responsibility in manufacturing, production, component overhaul, and sales before leaving to develop critical management expertise. During this time, Mike held several director positions in which he provided leadership in power generation, electrical design, efficiency, testing, maintenance and supply chain management. He assembled and managed cross-functional teams and directed projects valued at up to $4.5 Million with consistent record of on-time, on-budget performance.

Later, Mike was the Senior Energy Advisor and Director of Energy and Sustainability for the State of Maryland, a position in which he was responsible for providing guidance to the Governor’s office on highly complex issues and policies in various segments of the energy markets. His path then led him to General Electric as Senior Director of their industrial solutions division. Working with a team of engineers, production, and sales professionals, he managed complex commercial opportunities, collaborated on developing long-term planning goals, and contributed to the organizations overall $12 billion business strategy.

Mike also helped establish and served on the Board of Directors for the Virginia Society of Healthcare Engineers, a non-profit organization that focuses on improving and enhancing healthcare facilities infrastructure, operations, and maintenance through planning, education, cooperation, advocacy, and design innovation. During his service, he grew the association membership base from 23 active members to over 250.

Mike holds a Master of Science (MSc) in Global Energy Management from University of Colorado – Denver Business School. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family and playing golf with his son.

Anthony Capersino
About Anthony Capersino

With over 20 years at NAASCO holding positions of increasing responsibility, as the Director of Operations, Anthony leads a team of dedicated aviation professional technicians, procurement specialists, and workflow managers that drive NAASCO’s production efforts. Additionally, Anthony works closely with our quality control and manufacturing teams to ensure first in quality service.

Anthony’s dedication to service does not end with NAASCO as he is equally committed to community service. His service record includes:

  • Presently the Fire Commissioner of The Mastic Beach Fire District
  • 20 Year Life member of The Mastic Beach Fire Department
  • Multiple citations for Merit and Bravery
  • Past Commissioner of the Mastic Beach Ambulance Company
  • Member of Brookhaven Town & NYS Fire Chiefs Association’s

In his spare time, Anthony enjoys going to church and spending time with his wife, children, and grandchildren.

James Leslie
About James Leslie

As the Director of Quality Control and Engineering of NAASCO, James is responsible for the performance of our engineering department and ensuring our manufactured, repaired, and overhauled products meet or exceeds set standards of quality, reliability and performance.

What started as a summer job in grade school, then part time through college to full time has turned into a career with NAASCO. Through various positions within the company he earned his Non Destructive Testing (NDT) Certificate’s and Certified Qualified Auditor (CQA) and has been managing the Quality and Engineering departments for over 20 years.

Additionally holds a United Stated Coast Guard Captains License so in the warmer months you can find him charting clients along the south shore of Long Island, or pleasure boating with family. During the winter months he is normally spending time in the Adirondacks Mountains at his family camp.

Paul Seal
About Paul Seal

With over 33 years of experience in the aviation industry, as NAASCO’s Director of Sales Paul manages all inside and outside sales activities and team members. Additionally, Paul coordinates NAASCO’s tradeshows, marketing, and media initiatives.

Previously Paul was President and Accountable Manager of an FAA Part 145 Repair Station for Class I, II, III electrical accessories. Responsibilities included marketing, sales, finance, fiduciary responsibility.

In his spare time, Paul enjoys spending time with his family, songwriting, and playing bass guitar in a local band.

Jennifer Llera
About Jennifer Llera

With over 15 years of experience in all aspects of the Fashion industry, vast international exposure, and diverse background in HR and childcare, Jennifer brings an ability to adapt and learn quickly in high pressured environments. Her commitment, discipline, and cheery demeanor are what drives her to succeed. Her goal is to bring NAASCO a fresh, optimistic view in improving performance and creating a solid relationship with customers.

In her spare time, Jennifer enjoys all outdoor activities with her children, creating new vegan dishes, and volunteering with the feeding ministry.

Emilija Bimbiloska
About Emilija Bimbiloska

Emilija’s journey within NAASCO is a shining example of her unwavering dedication and loyalty. Starting as an Accounting and Office Assistant, she has been promoted to Accounting Manager, a role that she fulfills with utmost commitment. In this capacity, she works closely with internal and external team members, overseeing the company’s entire accounting cycle. Her responsibilities span a wide range of activities, from processing accounts payable and receivable to maintaining the accuracy of the general ledger and invoicing clients.


Emilija’s professional journey is a testament to her insatiable thirst for knowledge and her unwavering ambition for professional growth. It began in high school in Macedonia, where she pursued a degree in economics, legal, and commercial professions. Her initial dream was to become a lawyer, which she pursued with a bachelor’s in criminology from John Jay College of Criminal Justice. However, her passion for accounting led her to continue her studies and discover NAASCO. She is now furthering her knowledge with an MBA in accounting at Stony Brook University, aiming to become a Certified Public Accountant and take on more leadership roles in the future.

Emilija’s rich multicultural background and her impressive linguistic skills are not just part of her identity, but a testament to her exceptional adaptability and potential for seamless international collaboration. Born in Macedonia, she is fluent in Macedonian and in two other languages: English and Serbian. This linguistic prowess, combined with her ability to quickly grasp new concepts and her strong interpersonal skills, underscores her ability to bridge cultural gaps and foster effective communication, making her an invaluable asset to NAASCO and our global clientele base. Emilija’s dedication to self-improvement is not confined to her professional life, as she also devotes her leisure time to reading and studying, constantly striving to enhance her knowledge and skills.

Scott Leslie
About Scott Leslie

As the Helicopter and Fixed Wing Sales Manager, Scott is responsible for all NAASCO sales in North America. With over 25 years in customer service, sales, and management experience, Scott comes to NAASCO from the hospitality industry, where he was responsible for the P&L for hotels, restaurants, and concert venues. With this diverse background, he plans to positively impact NAASCO’s culture while enhancing the client’s service experience.

In his early years, Scott was very competitive with all sports and even racing Jet Ski’s. Now, you will likely find him at a golf course as he enjoys the rigorous challenge such a sport can deliver.
