Starter Generator – DC 8260-123

Description

The 8260-123 DC Starter Generator is manufactured by Thales AES (Auxilec) and is fitted for the ATR 42. The starter generator is a sheilded unit with a maxium altide of 10,600 m (35,000 ft). The generator operational ratings are: 30 VDC, 400 A, power at 12 kW, and a speed range between 7,200 – 12,000 rpm. The starter operational reatings are: torque 3.6 m.kg (26.03 ft.lb), speed of 1,750 rpm, current rating of 800 A, and a voltage of 16 VDC. The rotatioal direction is counter clockwise when looking from the drive shaft end. The unit weighs 41.36 lb.
