N2 Linear Actuator 65A Series

RFQ

Description

The 65A Series Linear Actuator, originally manufactured or cataloged by TRW Globe, is an electric motor-driven acme lead screw mechanism that imparts linear motion to the output ram. The unit is designed to provide selected linear motions upon command to a gas turbine governor to control speed. It works about a nominal zero position (present length), and the mechanical stops are similar to a tum-buckle arrangement. Caution should be exercised in adjusting the stops against the ram because damage to the actuator can occur. All adjustments should be made from the zero position if possible.

Part numbers within this series may include but may not be limited to 65A120, 65A123, 65A124, 65A149, 65A150, 65A165, 65A168, 65A171, 65A172, 65A173, 65A181, 65A192, 65A258, and 65A237.

Typically, the 65A Series Linear Actuator can be found on Bell Turbine Helicopters within the Commercial and Military sectors.
